Keep the story with the item
Give each item a clear name and add photos that help you recognize it. Notes can record an included accessory, a missing page, a repair, or the reason you chose it. Those small details are easy to lose between separate lists and folders.
Choose the Collectible tracking profile to keep condition, acquisition date, acquisition source, and an estimated value with the record. Enter what you know now; you can return to add more detail later.
A collection still lives somewhere
Keep a shelf, cabinet, or storage box as a location in Tori. An item’s stock details connect the record to that place, so your carefully documented collection is also easier to find.
Your collection can sit alongside the rest of your home inventory. A vintage camera, a set of favorite cookbooks, and spare household supplies do not need separate systems just because you remember different things about them.

Start with one recognizable record
Add a specific item name and a useful photo. For similar pieces, include the distinguishing edition, color, or model in the name or description.
Fill in the details you know
Select Collectible, record its condition, and add acquisition information or an estimated value. Use notes for context that does not fit another field.
Connect it to its home
Record the quantity and location. Check the record when you reorganize, and update the location when the item moves.
A few useful answers.
Does Tori automatically value my collection?
No. Estimated value is a number you enter. Tori keeps it with the item’s details; it is not an automatic appraisal or a live market-price feed.
Can I add photos and notes without recording a value?
Yes. Build the record around the information that matters to you. A name, photo, location, and a few useful notes can be a good starting point. Photo upload depends on platform and browser support. You can also enter item details manually.
